Es increible este modelo de Cortocircuito (Johny 5 en inglés) que ha sido realizado con LEGO. Más increible aún es que lo haya hecho de modo que pueda ser controlado a través de un raido control.

El WowWee Wrex. Hace poco os hablamos de otro WowWee, pues hoy toca este, un nuevo robot perro. Me encanta su diseño, es, como si fuera un perro de dibujos animados. Es sencillamente genial.
Como podéis haber visto en el vídeo, uno de los modos más graciosos es el de “perrito guardián”. No se, personalmente me gusta que cada vez haya más juguetes-robot. Aunque, el problema es el “pastón” que debe de costar cada uno de estos robots.
Primero, perdonad la escasez de noticias, es que ahora comienza una época dificil y el tiempo escasea…
Aún así, para ganarme vuestro robótico perdón, os traigo un regalito… ¡Mirad que perro!

Si te gustan los robots bípedos, o te gustan los dinusaurios, o te gustan los robots, o simplemente estás aburrido… ¡¡Esto te encantará!!
Si, tal vez no es rápido, pero… ¿os lo imagináis dentro de poco, con una buena piel que finja una de verdad?
Este robot es increible, si consiguieran ajustarlo para darle más velocidad, sería algo increible, porque, un robot bípedo, conseguir que ande, es mucho más complicado que en otro tipo de robots, y, hacerlo con “estilo” y un buen “diseño”: me parece un acierto.

Aquí os copio una noticia en inglés, sobre un primer campeonato de robótica en Tarragona:
The First National Robotics Competition of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Terrassa (city near Barcelona) was celebrated at the beginning of this month.
The competition was organised by the association JET (Joves Enginyers Terrassa): www.jet.upc.es Nearly a hundred of robots from Spain, Turkey and Andorra participated in the categories of Sumo, MiniSumo, Sniffers, Sprinters and Freestyle.
In the category of Sumo, 2 robots fight in a ring (playing area) and the winner is the robot that throws the opponent outside the ring. The maximum size of the robot is 20x20cm and its weight can be up to 3kg. The rules of the MiniSumo are the same, but the robots are smaller: 10x10cm and 500g.
The competition Sniffers consists in follow a white line on a black ground as fast as possible. The circuit to follow has only one starting line and one finishing line, but has bifurcations in the middle with marks that points the shortest way. The point of the Sniffers is the reach the end of the circuit without getting lost in the bifurcations. The winner is the robot that finishes the circuit wit less time.
The Sprinters robots have to follow a line in the shortest time, like the sniffers. The difference is that the circuit has a smooth shape, with open curves, like an athletics track, allowing the robots to reach higher speeds. The robots compete in pairs in the same circuit and each robot start in on side of the circuit. The winner is the robot that grabs the opponent.
In the Freestyle competition, the participants show their robots to the public and a jury has to decide the winners.

Si habeis estados informados en el tema de los robo-one, os debería de sonar el nombre de R-Blue, un mítico ganador de muchas competiciones de Robo-one.
Pues bien hace poco, afirmaron que crearian una versión superior del robot, añadiendole más servos y haciendolo más grande.
¡¡Al fin da sus primeros pasos esta versión!!

El sistema desarrollado por Nintendo y su Wiimote, va a tener bastante desarrollo en la robótica. ¿Por qué no controlar un brazo robótico indsutrial con un Wiimote?
De hecho, se podrían diseñar “interfaces” utilizando la tecnología de Wiimote, para poder controlar muchisimas cosas, diseño, ingeniería, industria…
En la página de engadget (más abajo) podéis ver un pequeño vídeo en el que sus creadores explican como lo han logrado. (En inglés, desde luego).

Esto se escapa un poco al ámbito de la robótica, pero no deja de ser algo “al estilo”. Conseguir, mediante motores, circuitería, etc… dotar a un ser humano de capacidades más allá de las suyas… por ejemplo…
